About The Court
The Court is a hotel at the corner of Beaufort and James Streets that dates from 1888 and has been a hub for Perth's LGBTQIA+ community since the early 1990s. A 2017 expansion took it across neighbouring properties, and it now has six bars and three dance floors.
Programming includes DJs, drag shows and the Drag Factory amateur drag competition, drag brunches, karaoke and student nights. It hosts the Pride Street Party after the Perth Pride Parade each November. The crowd is queer at heart, but everyone is welcome.
