About Geisha Bar
Geisha is a small house music club on James Street in Northbridge. In 2017 Broadsheet noted it had held a house policy for 18 years, with guests including Derrick Carter, Hernan Cattaneo, Deetron, Nick Warren and Jeff Mills, played through a Funktion-One sound system.
The room is dark and intimate, fitted out in timber and leather with contemporary art and old bus seats. Nights now mix house with techno and other underground electronic music from local and touring DJs, mostly on Fridays and Saturdays, with occasional Sunday parties. Entry is 18+ and VIP booths can be booked.
