About Connections
Connections opened in Northbridge in December 1975 and is believed to be the longest-running gay club in the southern hemisphere. It is on the City of Perth heritage register for its importance to Western Australia's LGBTQIA+ community, and marked its 50th anniversary in late 2025.
The club has a mirrored main dance floor under a big lighting rig, an upstairs lounge and a rooftop terrace looking over the city. Expect disco, electro and house DJs, resident drag queens, cabaret and themed nights. The crowd is queer at its core but mixed.
