About Lefty’s Music Hall

Lefty's Music Hall is a honky-tonk saloon in the heritage Baroona Labor Hall on Caxton Street. It opened in 2013 as Lefty's Old Time Music Hall, from Jason Scott of Sydney's Swillhouse Group and Jamie Webb, and was renamed when Hallmark Group took it over in 2020. The decor has stayed: crimson walls, vintage chandeliers, mirrors and moose heads.

The music is rockabilly, country, blues and Americana, from local bands to touring names. The 2026 calendar included Paul Kelly, The Radiators, C.W. Stoneking and The Bennies. The bar serves whisky and boutique beer alongside American comfort food. Capacity is listed at 500.
