About Felons Barrel Hall

Felons Barrel Hall is a German-style beer hall at Howard Smith Wharves, next to the Felons Brewing Co brewpub. It opened on 9 October 2020 in the space that was previously the Howard's Hall function venue. The hall sits under a zig-zag roof, with long communal tables, river views, a stage under a giant disco ball and walls lined with oak barrels.

The barrel program holds more than 150 barrels for beers aged onsite, and there are 88 taps, served in half-litre and one-litre steins. The hall hosts weekly live music, trivia and family-friendly Sunday sessions, and ticketed touring and tribute shows were still running through 2026.
