About The Marlborough Hotel

The Marlborough, known locally as the Marly, is a large corner pub at the Newtown crossroads run by Solotel, which bought it in 2017. It trades late most nights and has a beer garden, pool tables and a ground-floor public bar with live music.

The upstairs bar keeps its own hours, and the basement houses Tokyo Sing Song, a Japanese-meets-New-York dive bar that opens for late dancing on Friday and Saturday nights. The pub also runs weekly trivia and sport screenings, and weekend queues can form around midnight.
