About Mary’s Poppin

Mary's Poppin is a queer-owned and operated gay bar and LGBTQIA+ nightclub in Synagogue Place, just off Rundle Street. It opened in April 2016 in a heritage-listed building and spreads over several rooms, including a main room and a front bar.

Nights mix DJs, dancing and drag. The resident Mary's Divas perform several shows each night, and Glam Adelaide's 2026 guide notes its colourful decor and cocktails. Regular trading is Friday and Saturday, with extra openings for special events and long weekends.
