The Tap on Mitchell is an open-air bar and all-day eatery at the Crocosaurus Cove end of Mitchell Street, built around a large old tree that guests sit beneath. It opens for breakfast and coffee, serves meals through the day and is known for fishbowl cocktails and croc burgers, with a drinks list that leans on Territory brewers.
A local musician plays every night, usually from 7pm, with an earlier Friday session from 4pm and a Sunday set from 6pm. There is cover for wet season rain and an air-conditioned gaming room.
