Late cocktail bar

Bar Kokomo

56 Smith Street, off Austin Lane. A small rum bar with Caribbean-leaning drinks, sharing the laneway with Charlie’s.

About Bar Kokomo

Bar Kokomo opened in October 2023 as Darwin's first rum bar and is the second venue from Anneliese Grazioli, who also runs Hanky Panky Lounge. It holds about 90 people and shares the 56 Smith Street building and Austin Lane approach with Charlie's of Darwin.

The drinks list leans on rum and rhum agricole, especially from the Caribbean, with gin also featured and a section for building your own daiquiri with the bar team. The kitchen serves share plates drawing on Caribbean, Central and South American flavours. It hosted a Tequila Day event in July 2025 and is a 2026 Darwin Laksa Festival venue.
