About Sweethearts
Sweethearts is a duelling piano bar and late-night dining room at The Cinema Collective on Mitchell Street, billed as the only one of its kind in Darwin. It is named after Sweetheart, a well-known crocodile from the Finniss River in the 1970s, and the room has exposed brick, local timber and an open-plan layout.
Two pianos anchor the room, and the request-driven piano show runs seven nights a week, with live bands and late DJ sets also on the program. The menu mixes pub classics with Territory flavours. It won Best Late Night Venue at the NT hospitality awards and trades until 3am.
