About The Woolshed
The Woolshed is a party-focused nightclub on Shields Street in Cairns. The Cotton Club restaurant and alfresco area sit at street level, with the nightclub upstairs and a balcony overlooking the fig trees. The venue says it has five separate areas for groups of different sizes.
Music is DJ-led, with themed party nights and Sunday sessions described in a December 2024 guide, and a DJ-hosted Afrobeats night listed for Wednesday 26 August 2026. The venue markets itself as having been Cairns' leading party venue for about 30 years.
