About Seaview Hotel
The Seaview Hotel sits on the corner of The Strand and Gregory Street, looking out over the Coral Sea. Built in 1929 to a design by Townsville architect Joe Rooney, it is on the city's local heritage register. The Paul Irvin Hotel Group refurbished it, and it reopened in early 2022.
There is a large beer garden, bar and dining areas, the Loft Bar for functions, and a gaming room. Live music runs on weekends, and the kitchen does pizzas, burgers, steaks, schnitzels and salads, with vegetarian options.
