About Hotel Allen

Hotel Allen is a North Ward pub on a corner that has held a hotel since 1876, trading as Hotel Allen since 1959. A restoration began in 2024 with the aim of keeping its heritage character. It has a bistro and terrace, a sports bar, a beer garden, a gaming room and accommodation.

Live music runs Friday nights with a band in the sports bar from 8pm to 11pm, plus acoustic sessions in the beer garden on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Other weekly nights include trivia on Wednesdays, karaoke and pool comps. It trades until 3:30am Monday to Saturday.
