About Flinders Street Wharves
Flinders Street Wharves is a riverside dining and drinking precinct in the restored Burns Philp & Co building, an 1895 complex described as Townsville's last surviving 19th-century warehouse. The $30 million redevelopment opened in December 2025 and holds up to about 1,000 people across half an acre.
Venues include Merchants Bar, with more than 100 beer taps, the Yards Bar and beer garden, a rooftop bar with water views and live entertainment, a bistro, The Kiosk and a floating pontoon bar. Hours vary by bar, with the rooftop open Thursday to Sunday into the night.
