About Ronnie Nights
Ronnie Nights opened on the Cappuccino Strip in February 2018 in the former Maya Indian restaurant, as a sister venue to Strange Company. It was designed as an old Freo house party, with several rooms, a back dance floor and a late-1970s Australiana look under a pressed tin ceiling.
The programme covers DJs, live music, karaoke and comedy, from jazz and disco to punk and hip hop. It has served as a Fringe hub and ran a comedy show on New Year's Eve 2025. Food at opening included empanadas from a chef with Chilean heritage.
