About Kings Cross Hotel
The Kings Cross Hotel is a six-storey Federation-era pub at the junction of William Street, Darlinghurst Road, Bayswater Road and Victoria Street. It was built around 1915 on the site of the Victoria Hotel, which had stood there since the 1880s.
The ground and first floors hold the public bar and sports bar, level three is the KX Club dance floor, and level five is a rooftop with views over the Cross and DJs every weekend. The club level has hosted techno, house and disco parties, and the whole building has been taken over for events such as the 2023 World Bar reunion night.
