About Z Wines
Z Wine is the label of sisters Janelle and Kristen Zerk, whose family has farmed Barossa vineyards for five generations. The winery was established in 1999, and its cellar door and wine bar sit on Murray Street, Tanunda's main street.
The venue serves regional produce alongside its wines and hosts local live music. A 2026 guide to Tanunda describes it as keeping a relaxed late-night wine bar feel after the other cellar doors have closed, and it stays open until late on Fridays and Saturdays.
