About Max Watt's
A basement music venue under the Century Building on Swanston Street, holding about 850 people. It opened as a cinema in 1940, became the Hi-Fi Bar & Ballroom in 1998 and has been Max Watt's since 2015. Expect touring bands, tribute nights and, during the Comedy Festival, the late-night Festival Club.
